Heather's Children and Inspiration for "Your first golf lesson"

Your First Golf Lesson is an entertaining introduction to the game of golf for even the littlest aspiring golfer.  It teaches children some of the principles of the game from a young age…Including many unspoken rules, the most important of those being that in Golf, as in life, you may be dealt a bad lie…But you should NEVER give up!  

Heather is a small business owner from St. Louis, Missouri where she lives on a golf course with her husband and two children.  They take their children on the course every chance they get.  As the wife of a scratch golfer, the game of golf was something that she had always been excited to share with her children.  However, since her oldest child was born in 2010 she had been searching for a children’s book that was entertaining and educational about the principles of the game of golf that was suitable to read from a young age.  After years of searching and finding nothing, she felt compelled and inspired to write a book that she could share with all the other Golf Loving Families of the world.  Thus, “Your First Golf Lesson” was born. 

She wants children to have the opportunity from a young age to hear about the amazing game of golf just as they do dinosaurs, sleepy construction equipment, and noisy farm animals.
